When to Trim Your Bird's Wings

Wing clipping can help keep your pets safe.  They help ensure that your feathered friend doesn't accidentally fly away, fall, or fly into danger inside of your home.  Clipping your bird's wings can help keep your pet healthy and safe!

When should you trim you bird's wings?

When you notice that your pet is regaining full flight, it's time to re-trim the wings.  This usually happens about every 4-6 weeks.  If your bird can fly more than a few feet, it's time to clip their wings.
